    Research & Clinical Trials

To be able to offer the latest treatment options, and help those who may not benefit from traditional treatment options, Pennington Cancer Center is an active participant in some of the nation's most innovative clinical trials and cancer research programs.

In 2006, Pennington Cancer Center applied for and was granted membership in the National Surgical Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP), a designation often reserved for larger academic cancer centers. Three years later, Pennington remains an active member of NSABP.

In addition to NSABP-sponsored projects, Pennington Cancer Center is currently participating in clinical trials related to a variety of cancers, treatment methods, and cancer-related disorders including lung, colorectal, and prostate cancer; renal and anal carcinoma; leukemia, lymphoma and melanoma.
